We have 20 years of green under our belts here at Fairmont,

doing everything from using bio-fuels onsite to cultivating rooftop herb gardens,

and we’re always working behind the scenes for a healthier planet.

It’s earth day
I love the mountains.
I love the clear blue skies.
I love big bridges.
I love when great whites fly.
I love the whole world.
And all its sights and sounds.~

I am the Earth
And the Earth is me.
Each blade of grass,
Each honey tree,
Each bit of mud,
And stick and stone
Is blood and muscle,
Skin and bone.

Remembering on Earth Day that we are not on this planet, we are a part of it to nurture and leave it better than it was when we arrived.
As the Native American proverb says: “We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money.
